Nowhere can you book a ticket easier than in traintosapa.com. All you have to do is to fill our form about some basic information as your name, email, phone number, type of ticket you want and click booking button.

Note: Please write exactly your address, email or phone. We are not responsible when train tickets lost if you provide address wrongly or the information is not correct.

When our system receives your email, our sale will reply for you ASAP around 24hours (except weekend) to confirm your ticket.

There are two ways to pay your ticket:

Case 1:
You can pay 100% ticket value for us via Onepay, Bank transfer, Western Union. It is not including bank fee in Our services
In this case, we will immediately send you a Ticket Receipt. Therefore, you can print this ticket and bring it to the station.

Case 2:
Step 1: you will make deposit 50% via Onepay, bank transfer, Western Union, bank transfer, MONEYGRAM,.
When we receive your deposit we will send our invoice with confirmed booking.
Step 2: the balance 50% will be paid at the same time we delivery train ticket at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or when we pick you up to the train station on departure date.

As a rule, unless otherwise stated, our policy is that all cancellation must be informed in writing by email [email protected] or call urgent: +84-988158586. Cancellations will be charged as follows:

* After Our confirmation and purchased tickets: 20% charge
* 15-30 days before departure: 25% charge
* 7-14 days before departure: 35% charge
* 2-6 days before departure: 50% charge
* Within 24 hours before departure: 100% charge
For change dates, it is free if you contact us as soonest and tickets of the same kind train still are available

If you want to make a complaint –whatever it‘s about, please send email to us or call the hotline, but for only 24 hours maximum. We will try our best to deal with your problems and offer you the refund or compensation base on each circumstance. Any claims after 24 hours (from the time of problems) will not be handled.
No amount of refunds and compensations will not be paid due to special circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions, political instability, third party strike.

• Children under 5 years old are free of charge.
• Children more than 10 years old: is adult‘s rate.
• Especially, with Fansipan express train and Victoria express train: 25% off on adult‘s rates for children between 5 year and 11 year old (under 1,32m)

Unfortunately, to create the spacious and clean cabin, all the train do not include toilet or bathroom in each cabin. Therefore, you should take shower at your hotel before get train if you want.
However, every train always has clean and pretty toilet at the end of each carriage with the convenient facilities for customers.
Besides that, air conditioners are always provided in each cabin, if you require to control suitable temperature please ask staffs of the train to help you change it because you cannot do it by yourself in your cabin.
About restaurant, it depends on type of the train you choose. There is a small dinning carriage on SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4, SP5, SP6, SP7, SP8 but it does not belong to the train you book.

The average distance from Hanoi to Sapa is 252 kilometers (equals to 156 miles or 136 nautical miles). Your train will depart from Hanoi Train Station - Gate A at (21° 1’ 23.52”N, 105° 50’ 25.8”E), and will arrive at Sapa at (22° 29’ 34.08”N, 103° 58’ 46.2”E).

The average train travel time between Hanoi and Sapa is about 8 hours.

There are buses that you can take from Hanoi airport to Hanoi train station but that would involve changing at least 2 buses. With all the luggage to carry, it is not advisable to take bus. The easiest way is to take a taxi from the airport to the train station, which takes about 40 minutes and costs about 20.

For sure it is quite safe on the train, please take care of your luggage belongings by yourself. So, close the door when you sleep and keep the important and valuable thing such as mobile, money, personal document and so on beside you.
